Hydrophobizing polyether sulfone membrane by sol-gel for water desalination using air gap membrane distillation

ABSTRACT

The hydrophobic polyether sulfone membranes were prepared by the sol-gel method to be applied in an air gap membrane distillation setup for desalination. The surface modifications were carried out using Trimethylsilyl chloride (TMSCl) and Methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS) solutions. The membranes were characterized using Attenuated Total Reflection Infrared (ATR-IR) spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Optical Contact Angle (OCA) methods. The effects of membrane preparation as well as operating conditions such as temperature difference, salt concentration, feed rotation speed, and cold-side temperature on membrane performance were investigated using central composite design method. It was found that feed temperature has the largest effect among the parameters on the permeation flux. The flow rate and salt rejection of the membrane in the optimum conditions were 4.47 Kg m^?2 h^?1 and 99.37%, respectively.     

“高电压技术”课程线上线下混合式教学

本文采用超星学习通线上教学平台，以 “高电压技术”课程为对象，实施了规模为120余人的线上线下混合式教学。基于线上教学和传统教学的优势互补，设计了“高电压技术”多个教学环节。归纳分析了混合式教学在各个教学环节取得的效果和问题，并根据学生反馈提出了持续性的改进措施。     

基于光刀图像的机器人示教纠偏方法

为了解决机器人辅助在线检测系统示教过程中效率低、人为干预多的问题,针对孔类特征,提出一种通过处理光刀图像获取机器人位姿纠正参数的方法。在该方法中,纠偏过程按照将图像光刀线调整为水平方向、将被测特征调整至图像中央、根据不同特征调整最优扫描方向3个步骤进行。根据光刀图像可以求出测量坐标系与被测特征的位姿关系,并得到该位姿与理想测量位姿的偏差。经过坐标变换即可得到在机器人基坐标系下的调整参数。另外,可利用电脑控制机器人运动,从而实现了纠偏过程的自动化。实验结果表明,该方法可将初始的示教位姿修正为理想位姿,且比传统方式效率更高。     

OBE-CDIO理念下“集成电路版图分析与设计”课程教学改革与探索

针对目前集成电路版图分析与设计课程存在教学方法老化、教学模式形式化等问题,本文以OBE-CDIO教育理念为指导,对”集成电路版图分析与设计”课程的课程教学模式、课程设计、项目式教学方式和课程考核方式等方面的改革进行有益的探索与实践。将工程教学认证中对学生的专业毕业要求作为制定教学目标的依据,将BB网络平台、ISO9001等现代化教学资源和质量标准融入课堂教学,采用OBE-CDIO能力教学理念指导课程设计,实现教学环节与考核环节的科学化与多元化,通过引入课程思政激发学生学习热情,树立社会主义核心价值观,全面地培养学生的综合版图分析与设计能力和素养。     

电信专业学术英文写作模块化教学实践

学术英文写作是当今电子信息专业研究生必修的一门课程。然而传统的以教师为中心的灌输式教学已不能跟上网络迅猛发展的趋势,尤其是当疫情来临的特殊形势下。此外,现有的学术英文写作教学研究仅提供宏观的设计,缺乏具体的实际可操作性。为此,本文以引言写作逻辑为教学模块案例,探索了如何充分利用网络资源的优势,开展以学生为中心的课前课中课下有机融合的灵活的教学设计。所探索的引言写作技巧和详实的教学设计,为模块化网络教学提供一个切实可行的参考方案。     

Combining a new baseboard radiator with a fan coil system for improving heating performance and reduce energy consumption

In the present work, the heating performance of a new system combined with a new modified baseboard radiator and fan coil is investigated. Using longitudinal fins with special geometry and also forced airflow at the end of the system causes that at the lower inlet water temperature compared with the conventional models, higher heat output rate be obtained. The heat output rate of the new modified system is obtained by experimental metrology based on the European Standard No. EN-442. Temperature and velocity distribution in the room space is done by simulation of the modified system in the Flovent software. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results are validated against experimental results and there is a good agreement between them. Also, the energy consumption of the system during the winter season is calculated in TRANSYS software. Experimental results show that the heat output rate of a new modified heating system with inlet water temperature in the range of 45–55°C is on average 4.17 times higher compared with the conventional model. CFD simulation also showed that the combined system provides good thermal comfort conditions. Energy consumption of the new system reduced about 13% compared with conventional models.     

疫情下电磁场理论课程的网络教学

本文主要总结了新冠疫情期间作者的电磁场理论课程在线教学经验。对比分析了录播和直播的优缺点后,选择录播教学方式。基于超星网络教学平台,展示了录播网络教学的具体措施,包括网上答疑和学习效果检查以及在线批改作业等。给出了网络教学可以为线下教学继续使用的方法和手段,为疫情结束后的正常教学提供了新的网络教学补充措施。     

数字电子技术实验“线上-线下混合”教学改革

在“移动互联网+课堂”的大势趋动下,针对现在“数字电子技术实验”教学存在的教学模式落后,教学手段单一,教学内容简单、以及考核不够全面等问题,借助超星泛雅 “一平三端”平台进行“线上-线下混合教学”改革。通过课前发布任务、课中有效组织课堂活动、课后发布作业、统计数据和教学反思进行。实践表明：该方法提高了学生的自主学习能力,并且增强了教师对学生学习情况的动态跟踪和过程性指导,同时也让课堂教学更有效,教学评价方式更有针对性、更精准,最终达到知识、技能和情感态度价值观的培养。     

Courses Based on iGEM/BIOMOD Competitions Are the Ideal Format for Research-Based Learning of Xenobiology

Synthetic biology and especially xenobiology, as emerging new fields of science, have reached an intellectual and experimental maturity that makes them suitable for integration into the university curricula of chemical and biological disciplines. Novel scientific fields that include laboratory work are perfect playgrounds for developing highly motivating research-based teaching modules. We believe that research-based learning enriched by digital tools is the best approach for teaching new emerging essentials of academic education. This is especially true when the scientific field as such is still not canonized with text books and best-practice examples. Our experience shows that iGEM/BIOMOD competitions represent an excellent basis for designing research-based courses in xenobiology. Therefore, we present a report on “iGEM–Synthetic Biology” offered at the Technische Universität Berlin as an example.
